Buddy's Story

Buddy. Buddy is a thoughtful, happy German Shepherd.

He is crazy about napping on the driveway. He has a favorite toy: bright red frisbee. Buddy is crazy cute. Buddy is a devoted friend to humans (even though he sometimes can be a bit noisy).

But sadly, Buddy's human discovered he was allergic to animals, including Buddy. His human had no other choice than to put Buddy up for adoption.
Buddy hopes for just one thing: a fresh start in a new home. Your home! Buddy is a friendly, medium energy dog. Buddy's rock-solid temperament makes him the perfect pup for anyone. Buddy is a very sloppy eater . We recommend a home where he'll get lots and lots of attention.

He had some accidents when he first arrived at the Shelter Pups, but has been trained during the stay.

Things You Should Know
Before Adopting Buddy

Buddy is a friendly, medium energy German Shepard. Be ready for action. Also, each dog breed has certain traits. Knowing a little bit about your dog's individual personality and breed personality will give you some clues about how to care for your dog.

There's a whole lot of German Shepard in this Shelter Pup!

Friendliness: German Shepherds love to be close to their families and are very loyal and protective. Eager and alert, they are highly intelligent and love to learn. Take this pup to obedience training and he'll be the star of the class.

Grooming: German Shepherds shed a little bit each day and should be brushed regularly to remove any dead hair.

Exercise: German Shepherd love strenuous physical activities and obedience training. Most German shepherds also love to play ball or Frisbee - both activities are excellent outlets for the German Shepherd's high level of energy.
