Reilly's Story

Reilly. Reilly is a happy, jovial gentleman. He is a Boxer.

He loves drooling. He is also well known for sleeping in the shade. Reilly is the absolute cutest. Even though he pretends he did not realize it was the BIRDS food that he just ate, he is as dedicated a buddy as a pup could possibly be.

But then it happened; Reilly's human had to move unexpectedly overseas, and could not bring pets. Reilly was dropped off at the shelter, and that is the last time they ever saw each other again.
But Reilly, like all dogs, does not dwell on the past. He lives in the present and wags his tail for the future. Reilly is an easy going, medium energy dog. Reilly's gentle demeanor makes him a great, easy-going lifelong companion. Reilly can be kind of hyper and he'll be best in a home where he can get to spend plenty of time with humans.

He is already house broken and knows tons of tricks!

Reilly is a easy going, medium energy Boxer Mix. Be ready to have this pup always at your side. Also, each dog breed has certain traits. Knowing a little bit about your dog's individual personality and breed personality will give you some clues about how to care for your dog.

Friendliness: Boxers are boisterous and playful. They are animated and excited when playing, and they love to run around and be active. Many boxers are described as "full of life." Boxers can be feisty, mischievous and love to tease. They love to be with their owners so be ready for a good time and a constant companion.

Grooming: The Boxer's short haired coat is easy to maintain but they can be major droolers. Make sure you clean their face daily or after each time they eat or drink.

Health: Because of their short-face, some Boxers gulp hair when they eat, causing stomach aches and gas. To keep this pup feeling great, feed him small meals several times a day and buy healthy dog food.
