Friends, this is Hartley. Hartley is a regal, happy Beagle.
He goes nuts for the fireplace and dislikes the hairdryer.
Even though he stares at the T.V. for no reason whatsoever, he is as totally committed a partner as a dog could be.
It breaks my heart to tell you, but Hartley was found living alone in the woods and scavenging for food. Hartley was rescued by a Humane Officer and brought to ShelterPups.com in hopes of finding a forever home.
But Hartley, like all dogs, does not dwell on the past. He lives in the present and wags his tail for the future. Hartley is a shy, low energy dog. Hartley's gentle demeanor makes him the perfect adoptable friend for humans that like to snuggle. Hartley can be a bit nervous around large groups of people and he'll be best in a home where he can have a person who will work with his shy nature.
He is basically house broken, but will have accidents if left alone for too long.
