Surrie. Surrie is an easy-going and cool canine. She is a Boxer.
She is mad for airplanes and loves to play with bean bags. Surrie is an absolute lovebug.
And even though she often wages war on marauding squirrels, she is as loving a playmate as a pup could be.
Unfortunately, Surrie was a stray with her collar embedded around her neck and in need of surgery to remove it. Surrie now lives with the other ShelterPups while waiting for a nice human to love her.
The past doesn't matter to Surrie. She's ready to start a new life in a new home, right now! Surrie is a friendly, medium energy dog. Surrie's infinitely kind heart makes her the perfect adoptable friend. Surrie can be a very sloppy eater and she'll be best in a home where she can get tons of attention.
She had some accidents when she first arrived at the Shelter Pups, but has been trained during the stay.
Things You Should Know Before Adopting Surrie
Surrie is a friendly, medium energy Boxer. Be ready for action. Also, each dog breed has certain traits. Knowing a little bit about your dog's individual personality and breed personality will give you some clues about how to care for your dog.
There's a lot of Boxer in this Shelter Pup!
Friendliness: Boxers are boisterous and playful. They are animated and excited when playing, and they love to run around and be active. Many boxers are described as "full of life." Boxers can be feisty, mischievous and love to tease. They love to be with their owners so be ready for a good time and a constant companion.
Grooming: The Boxer's short haired coat is easy to maintain but they can be major droolers. Make sure you clean their face daily or after each time they eat or drink.
Health: Because of their short-face, some Boxers gulp hair when they eat, causing stomach aches and gas. To keep this pup feeling great, feed him small meals several times a day and buy healthy dog food.
