Ladies and gents, I'd like you to meet Ginger. Ginger is a regal and cheerful Golden Retriever.
She goes nuts for green blanket. She has a favorite treat: cold french fries. Ginger is unbelievably fun.
Although she usually tries to jump in your lap even if she was not invited, she is as devoted a sidekick as any canine could imagineably be.
But one day everything changed; Ginger's human did not have enough money to take care of her. So the human sadly surrendered poor Ginger to the shelter, where she waits patiently for a Rescue Hero.
Ginger wakes up each morning hoping this will be the day she finally finds a new human. Ginger is a friendly, medium energy dog. Ginger's warm and friendly nature makes her the perfect adoptable friend. Ginger is often a little TOO affectionate sometimes and she is recommended for a home where she'll get lots of playtime.
She had some accidents when she first arrived at the Shelter Pups, but has been trained during the stay.
Things You Should Know Before Adopting Ginger

There's a whole lot of Golden retriever in this Shelter Pup!
Friendliness: Golden Retrievers are lovable, well-mannered, intelligent dogs with a great charm. Their sweet and eager to please attitude makes them great play mates and outstanding best friends.
Grooming: The Golden Retriever's silky golden hair requires brushing every other day. Fortunately, the medium length coat is easy to groom with a firm bristle brush. When grooming a Golden Retriever, pay particular attention to the dense undercoat to remove any debris and prevent mats from forming.
Health: Golden Retrievers can live for over 14 years and are generally pretty health. Some can develop skin allergies making consistent grooming even more important.
Exercise: Young Golden Retrievers have high energy levels and need daily walks. Golden Retrievers enjoy pleasing their owners, this makes obedience training great fun and a perfect way to burn off some energy.
Sorry, but Ginger was already adopted by an International Rescue Hero!
