Sally. Ms. Sally is a regal and jovial little gal. She is a Chihuahua.
She loves sleeping in the shade. She is also terrified of forts. Sally is unbelievably fun.
Even though she flies into a panic whenever an alarm clock goes off, she is as loving a partner as any pup could conceivably be.
But then it happened; Sally's human grew too old and sick to care for her as well as she used to. Her human had no other choice than to put Sally up for adoption.
Sally wakes up each morning hoping this will be the day she finally finds a new human. Sally is a high energy dog. Sally's unbelievable intelligence makes her the perfect pup for anyone who loves action. Sally is a bit spoiled . We recommend a home where she'll be pampered.
She had some accidents when she first arrived at the Shelter Pups, but has been trained during the stay.

Friendliness: Chihuahuas may look small and timid but these pups have confidence and attitude. They are proud, graceful, and dainty. The Chihuahua's favorite activity is being held by their favorite human. This pup may even do tricks to get your attention! Make sure you save plenty of time for your Chihuahua and never leave him alone for long periods of time.
Grooming: Chihuahuas can have long or short hair. Short haired Chihuahuas are low maintenance and only require an occasional grooming. Unlike many other long-haired breeds, long-haired Chihuahuas require no trimming and minimal grooming.
Health: Chihuahua are very healthy but also very tiny. Because they are so small it is important to help them stay safe -no jumping from high places or rough play with large dogs. Chihuahuas are also very sensitive to cold weather and should always be kept indoors.
Exercise: Chihuahuas may spend many lazy hours just laying around but they are still considered active dogs and require exercise. Because of their small size, simply running around your house gives them plenty of exercise!
