Kids, here is NACHO . NACHO is a loving and jovial little guy. He is a Chihuahua.
He is gorgeous. He is crazy about watching birds on TV and hates airplanes.
NACHO is a steadfast and true playmate to humans (even though he sometimes begs tirelessly for any red colored food, especially licorice).
But then it happened; NACHO 's beloved human grew too old to take proper care of him anymore. NACHO was dropped off at the shelter, and that is the last time they ever saw each other again.
NACHO hopes for just one thing: a fresh start in a new home. Your home! NACHO is a sporty, high energy dog. NACHO 's hyper attentive personality makes him the perfect adoptable friend for humans that love to play (a lot). You should know that NACHO is "overly affectionate" and he'll be best in a home where he can get tons of attention.
He had some accidents when he first arrived at the Shelter Pups, but has been trained during the stay.
Things You Should Know Before Adopting NACHO
NACHO is a sporty, high energy Chihuahua . Be ready for lots of action. Also, each dog breed has certain traits. Knowing a little bit about your dog's individual personality and breed personality will give you some clues about how to care for your dog.
There's a bunch of Chihuahua in this Shelter Pup!
Friendliness: Chihuahuas may look small and timid but these pups have confidence and attitude. They are proud, graceful, and dainty. The Chihuahua's favorite activity is being held by their favorite human. This pup may even do tricks to get your attention! Make sure you save plenty of time for your Chihuahua and never leave him alone for long periods of time.
Grooming: Chihuahuas can have long or short hair. Short haired Chihuahuas are low maintenance and only require an occasional grooming. Unlike many other long-haired breeds, long-haired Chihuahuas require no trimming and minimal grooming.
Health: Chihuahua are very healthy but also very tiny. Because they are so small it is important to help them stay safe -no jumping from high places or rough play with large dogs. Chihuahuas are also very sensitive to cold weather and should always be kept indoors.
Exercise: Chihuahuas may spend many lazy hours just laying around but they are still considered active dogs and require exercise. Because of their small size, simply running around your house gives them plenty of exercise!
Sorry, but NACHO was already adopted by an International Rescue Hero!
