Tiki. Tiki is a happy, cheerful Yorkshire Terrier and Chihuahua mix.
She is crazy quirky. She is mad for butterscotch rawhides and will do anything for organic noodles.
Tiki is a tireless companion to humans (even though she sometimes tries to jump in your lap even if she was not invited).
Sadly, Tiki was found wandering through the city, dirty and in need of urgent medical help. Tiki was saved by a courageous animal loving human and brought to Shelterpups.com for a second chance at a great life.
Tiki wakes up each morning hoping this will be the day she finally finds a new human. Tiki is a friendly, medium energy dog. Tiki's infinitely kind heart makes her the perfect adoptable friend. Some describe Tiki as kind of hyper and she is recommended for a home where she'll get lots of playtime.
She is already house broken and knows tons of tricks!
Things You Should Know Before Adopting Tiki
Tiki is a friendly, medium energy Chorkie. Be ready for action. Also, each dog breed has certain traits. Knowing a little bit about your dog's individual personality and breed personality will give you some clues about how to care for your dog.
There's a bunch of Chorkie in this Shelter Pup!
Friendliness: Chihuahuas may look small and timid but these pups have confidence and attitude. They are proud, graceful, and dainty. The Chihuahua's favorite activity is being held by their favorite human. This pup may even do tricks to get your attention! Make sure you save plenty of time for your Chihuahua and never leave him alone for long periods of time.
Grooming: Chihuahuas can have long or short hair. Short haired Chihuahuas are low maintenance and only require an occasional grooming. Unlike many other long-haired breeds, long-haired Chihuahuas require no trimming and minimal grooming.
Health: Chihuahua are very healthy but also very tiny. Because they are so small it is important to help them stay safe -no jumping from high places or rough play with large dogs. Chihuahuas are also very sensitive to cold weather and should always be kept indoors.
Exercise: Chihuahuas may spend many lazy hours just laying around but they are still considered active dogs and require exercise. Because of their small size, simply running around your house gives them plenty of exercise!
Sorry, but Tiki was already adopted by an International Rescue Hero!
