Kids, this is Oscar de la Sanders. Oscar de la Sanders is a noble and easy-going young boy. He is a Schnauzer and Poodle mix.
He is unbearably handsome. He is crazy about chasing waves and will do anything for clementines.
Oscar de la Sanders is an unwavering sidekick to humans (even though he sometimes pretends not to hear you when he is busy stalking squirrels).
But one day, Oscar de la Sanders's human got sick and needed to move to the hospital. So the human sadly surrendered poor Oscar de la Sanders to the shelter, where he waits patiently for a Rescue Hero.
Oscar de la Sanders now dreams of the simple things like a kind human to worship, and a soft, safe place to snuggle. Oscar de la Sanders is a sporty, high energy dog. Oscar de la Sanders's unbelievable intelligence makes him the perfect pup for anyone seeking adventure. Oscar de la Sanders is "overly affectionate" and he'll be best in a home where he can get regular walks or runs and plenty of training sessions.
He is basically house broken, but will have accidents if left alone for too long.

There's a bunch of Schnoodle (poodle/schna in this Shelter Pup!
Friendliness: Schnauzers hate to be alone and thrive on companionship. Make sure to include this pup in all your daily activities. Originally bred as hunters and messengers, Schnauzers are also great watch dogs. These enthusiastic and spunky dogs will definitely let you know when someone is at the front door. Poodles love people and will go out of their way to make them happy. Because they love people so much, Poodles do not do well in cages or alone for long periods of time. These pups love to be the center of attention and will eagerly accompany you to all types of events and outings.
Grooming: The Schnauzer has a wiry top coat and a dense undercoat. Twice a year the Schnauzer's coat should be clipped to all one length. Most Poodles must be bathed regularly and clipped every six to eight weeks. Because Poodles do not shed, they must be clipped instead of brushed. A professional groomer can give your Poodle a different hair cut each time!
Exercise: A Schnauzer should be exercised as much as possible. Walks, jogging and playtime are great exercises for Schnauzers. The Standard Poodle is generally lower energy and often calmer than the smaller varieties of Poodles although all sizes are described as highly intelligent and easily trained. Obedience and agility games are a great way to exercise these pups and use their brain power.
