The noble Mr. Chip. Chip is a regal, cool German Shepherd and Husky mix.
He is crazy about green beans. He really doesn't like cell phones. Chip is gorgeous.
Even though he rolls in the biggest, dirtiest mud puddles he can find, he is as steadfast and true a pal as any pup could conceivably be.
Unfortunately, Chip was a stray with his collar embedded around his neck and in need of surgery to remove it. Chip was saved by a courageous animal loving human and brought to Shelterpups.com for a second chance at a great life.
Chip hopes for just one thing: a fresh start in a new home. Your home! Chip is an easy going, medium energy dog. Chip's gentle demeanor makes him the perfect pup for homes with lots of humans. Chip is often "overly affectionate" and he'll be best in a home where he can be around other friendly dogs.
He had some accidents when he first arrived at the Shelter Pups, but has been trained during the stay.
Things You Should Know Before Adopting Chip
Chip is a easy going, medium energy German Shepard, huskie. Be ready to have this pup always at your side. Also, each dog breed has certain traits. Knowing a little bit about your dog's individual personality and breed personality will give you some clues about how to care for your dog.
There's a bunch of German Shepard, huskie in this Shelter Pup!
Friendliness: German Shepherds love to be close to their families and are very loyal and protective. Eager and alert, they are highly intelligent and love to learn. Take this pup to obedience training and he'll be the star of the class. Huskies are loving, gentle, playful, happy-go-lucky dogs who are fond of their families. They have a delightful temperament, and despite their independent streak, love everyone they meet.
Grooming: German Shepherds shed a little bit each day and should be brushed regularly to remove any dead hair. The Husky sheds heavily twice a year and needs to be brushed and combed daily during that time.
Exercise: German Shepherd love strenuous physical activities and obedience training. Most German shepherds also love to play ball or Frisbee - both activities are excellent outlets for the German Shepherd's high level of energy. Huskies need a fair amount of exercise but make sure they do not over heat in warm weather. Most love to dig and hunt.
Sorry, but Chip was already adopted by an International Rescue Hero!
