Friends, introducing Gio. Mr. Gio is a regal, loving young boy. He is a Poodle.
He is quirky and cute. He is crazy about movies and is always found with furry cow.
Gio is a steadfast and true buddy to humans (even though he sometimes rolls in the biggest, dirtiest mud puddles he can find).
But one day, Gio's human did not have enough money to take care of him. Gio was dropped off at the shelter, and that is the last time they ever saw each other again.
But Gio, like all dogs, does not dwell on the past. He lives in the present and wags his tail for the future. Gio is a high energy dog. Gio's hyper attentive personality makes him the perfect adoptable friend. Gio is often a little excited around cats . We recommend a home where he'll be around other friendly dogs.
He had some accidents when he first arrived at the Shelter Pups, but has been trained during the stay.
Things You Should Know Before Adopting Gio
Gio is a high energy Poodle. Be ready to give this pup lots of attention. Also, each dog breed has certain traits. Knowing a little bit about your dog's individual personality and breed personality will give you some clues about how to care for your dog.
There's a bunch of Poodle in this Shelter Pup!
Friendliness: Poodles love people and will go out of their way to make them happy. Because they love people so much, Poodles do not do well in cages or alone for long periods of time. These pups love to be the center of attention and will eagerly accompany you to all types of events and outings.
Grooming: Most Poodles must be bathed regularly and clipped every six to eight weeks. Because Poodles do not shed, they must be clipped instead of brushed. A professional groomer can give your Poodle a different hair cut each time!
Exercise: The Standard Poodle is generally lower energy and often calmer than the smaller varieties of Poodles although all sizes are described as highly intelligent and easily trained. Obedience and agility games are a great way to exercise these pups and use their brain power.
Sorry, but Gio was already adopted by an International Rescue Hero!
